Families can register their child by visiting the district’s website at peoriaunified.org/kindergarten or by visiting their neighborhood Peoria Unified school. Thanks to the USDA for offering free school meals, our Title I applications have been critically low this year, which also helps fund so much more than meals. This funding also helps to provide financial support to classrooms in the form of instructional materials, software programs to support learning, technology, tutoring opportunities, academic support before, during, and after school, and so much more. The information you submit is confidential, including to our school staff. One application is needed per family and should be completed every year to determine your eligibility. Peoria High School has had a long-term vision to finish the orchard that sits just west of the school’s administration building.
